Yoongi from BTS is a Dodgers fan, Klay walks out on Endgame, Dabo Swinney is good luck

Klay Thompson is feeling the Marvel curse, Yoongi from BTS is a Dodgers fan, Dabo Swinney is a good luck charm for NBA teams and two NFL players do good.

Yoongi from BTS is a Dodgers fan

The Dodgers have a number of celebrity fans, but this might be the biggest. Yoongi aka Suga from South Korean boy band BTS was at Tuesday’s game. If you’re old, ask your kids about BTS. Imagine *NSYNC, the Beatles and Elvis at their peak and the circus that followed them. That’s BTS.

Klay Thompson walks out on Endgame

Klay Thompson has struggled this postseason and it can be directly linked to him walking out on Avengers: Endgame. The Athletic reported Thompson walked out two hours into the three-hour Marvel movie that might break Avatar’s record as the biggest box office hit. But he just wasn’t that into it. If he can’t get his shot back, (30.8 three-point percentage vs. the Rockets) the Warriors could be walking out on him when he’s a free agent this offseason.

It’s good to be Dabo

Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is living the good life. He signed a $93 million extension two weeks ago after winning his second national title in three years. He was in Houston to see the Rockets beat the Warriors on Saturday. On Sunday, No. 1 quarterback recruit D.J. Uiagalelei committed to Clemson to give the Tigers the No. 1 class. Tuesday saw Swinney shoot hoops on the court in Toronto before the Raptors beat the 76ers. It’s good to be the king of college football who is clearly a good luck charm for the NBA teams he visits.

NFL guys do good

Buffalo first round pick Ed Oliver visited Bills superfan Ezra Castro aka Pancho Villa who is in the hospital fighting cancer. And Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott offered to pay for the funeral expenses for 8th-grade football phenom Jaylon McKenzie who was shot and killed over the weekend near Elliott’s hometown.
