5 offseason moves the Dodgers should make

In a wild Game 5 elimination game, the Dodgers title dreams were crushed at the hands of the Nationals in the 10th inning and now have a long offseason ahead to pick up the pieces.

After winning the most regular-season games in team history, the Dodgers were abruptly eliminated by the Nationals in NLDS, as the two-time reigning NL Champions are once again going home empty-handed.

And while it’s hard to pick apart a team that so clearly was the best in the National League all season, there’s something to be said about a team that has gotten so close over the last four seasons. With three straight NLCS trips, advancing to the World Series two of those years, and now with this Game 5 NLDS loss, the Dodgers are searching for answers.

The core of this team is solid with Cody Bellinger, Max Muncy, and Walker Buehler, but there are some questions that need to be answered about some underperforming veterans and manager Dave Roberts’ job stability is being tested right now. So here are 5 offseason moves the Dodgers need to make if they want to improve on their 2019 season.
