MLB rumors: 5 prospects who can help Angels in 2019

The Angels have Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani, but the club could use some help. Luckily, the Angels have some talent waiting to be called up from the minors.

Los Angeles is a confusing team that has the league’s best player in Mike Trout, a budding two-way superstar in Shohei Ohtani and a solid supporting cast of players like Justin Upton and Andrelton Simmons. But with all the early injuries this team has suffered, the Angels have scuffled to an 8-12 record despite Trout having another incredible season.

The Angels do have some reinforcements in the minors waiting for the right time to be called up and with all the injuries the team is dealing with right now, it could make sense for Brad Ausmus and Billy Eppler to bring them up to the big leagues this season.

So, here are five Angel prospects who have the potential to make a real impact for the big league club this season.
