Franmil Reyes launches emphatic walk-off home run to end losing streak (Video)

The Cleveland Indians walked it off on Thursday night against the Kansas City Royals, thanks to a three-run homer by Franmil Reyes.

The Cleveland Indians entered Thursday’s game against the Kansas City Royals with a nine-game losing streak. With the team looking to gain ground on the Chicago White Sox on first place in the AL Central, they needed to get back in the win column. Outfielder Franmil Reyes helped them do just that.

Reyes stepped up to the plate in the bottom of the ninth inning with Cesar Hernandez and Jose Ramirez on base. On the second pitch thrown by Royals reliever Greg Holland, Reyes smashed the ball into the left field stands to give Cleveland the 7-4 walk-off victory.

Cleveland Indians end losing streak in style

Due to their lengthy losing streak, Cleveland dropped all the way to a 42-42 record. Now, Cleveland is back over .500 and are now just 7.5 games behind the White Sox for first-place following the walk-off homer courtesy of Franmil Reyes.
