Springer made a fan for life just prior to an at-bat. It was a memory the young fan will carry forever, and he’ll no doubt have an awesome story to share for years to come.
That right there is among one of the coolest things you’ll witness in sports.
It’s an element that was missing for quite some time due to the global pandemic, but thankfully it’s back and gives us an opportunity to appreciate the little moments outside of all the hard work the athletes put on the field like giving back to the fans.
