Astros complete rare combined no-hitter on Yankees

Astros complete combined no-hitter on Yankees.

The Houston Astros have officially no-hit the New York Yankees, a feat that not many can say.

The game ended with a combined no-hitter split being starting pitcher, Cristian Javier, and backup Hector Neris. The team defeated the Yankees 3-0 in a thrilling game on Saturday afternoon in New York.

When was the last time the Yankees were no-hit?

The Yankees have only been no-hit seven times since 1900 and only once since 1958, that’s saying a lot about the talent in New York and even more for the talent in Houston this season.

Ironically, the last time the Yankees were no-hit was another combined game in 2003 … by te Houston Astros.
