Two women brawled like MMA fighters during Wednesday night’s Atlanta Braves game.
The Atlanta Braves are finally playing some good baseball now, and it absolutely caused two women in Braves Country to fight each other like they are battling in the Octagon.
I don’t if it was the newfound winning, the New York Mets collapsing before our very eyes or having to endure the pain of another Will Smith blown save, but these two women got battery-throwing mad at each other adjacent to The Battery on Wednesday night. While Ozzie Albies provided the late-night fireworks in extra innings, this was one hell of an undercard at Truist Park.
Violence is never the answer, but it remains the insatiable visual content our souls forever crave.
Atlanta Braves: 2 women fight like MMA superstars on the Truist Park concourse
For some, putting on a Freddie Freeman shir-sey is the same as smearing heaping globs of warpaint and getting ready for baseball fan battle. Ideally, one would prefer their anger and wrath be guided towards Bryce Harper or the New York Mets from the Chophouse, but beggars can’t be choosers. With the chili spaghetti enthusiast Cincinnati Reds serving as no threat, this can happen.
Not only are the Braves above .500 and winning more games than they lose now, but they are tied for first place with team that paid Harper all that money to begin with. Travis d’Arnaud has returned. Smith blew a save Big Willie Style. Albies walked off with a Chophouse bomb. That was great and all, but this is the peak viral content the rest of the baseball world will be talking about.
This battery battle royal is proof that friendly fire can happen without Smith blowing more saves.
