Kyle Schwarber picks amazing time for first home run as a Red Sox (Video)

Kyle Schwarber ties the Minnesota Twins in the bottom of the ninth with first home run as a Red Sox.

Schwarber was acquired at the MLB Trade Deadline in part because of his pop, and boy did he deliver. Down two runs with a man on, Schwarber hit a bomb to dead center.

Schwarber was injured when he first arrived to Boston, but has since gotten healthy at the right time, with the Red Sox battling for the second Wild Card spot.  His power should play especially well at Fenway Park.

Red Sox rally likely to fall short in extras

Josh Donaldson gave the Twins the lead in the top of the tenth inning, as the Red Sox rally from four runs down is likely to fall just short.

For now, they still have the second Wild Card spot in hand.
