Angels pitcher, Shohei Ohtani and UFC Heavyweight champ, Francis Ngannou meet up and trade some intel in the dugout.
Baseball games have super star appearances from time to time. They always make for good news as well, especially if the celebrity in question is well known. It’s bound to be Sportscenter-worthy content when it comes down to it.
When it comes to the Angels, though, the real star of the show has been Shohei Ohtani. The baseball star has been gaining attention since the beginning of the season and it’s only gotten better with time. He’s pretty much reached GOAT-status this season.
So it’s even better when a GOAT gets to meet another GOAT.
Francis Ngannou throws the first pitch, then meets with Shohei Ohtani to have “GOAT Talk”
Francis Ngannou, UFC heavyweight champion, showed up to the Angels vs. Padres game to throw the ceremonial first pitch. The Cameroonian fighter took to twitter to show that his pitch wasn’t nearly as embarrassing as 50 Cent’s over half a decade ago.
After the activities, Ngannou met with Ohtani in the dug out to have some photo ops and possibly trade some secrets. Ngannou is a legend in the octagon, but his pitch needed a little work, maybe Ohtani can show him a thing or two in exchange for some fighting moves.
Nonetheless, you can’t help but notice the admiration between the two being the best at their sport.
