The moment the ball came off Heyward’s bat, he and the crowd seemed to know that one was gone. It soared all the way to the scoreboard for good measure.
Chicago and Cincinnati were locked in a 1-1 battle after home runs from Ian Hap and Joey Votto. Heyward sent the fans home with his 401-foot blast.
