This homer came at the perfect time for the Braves. Game 2 starter Ian Anderson was pulled after three innings because it was manager Brian Snitker’s birthday and he can do whatever he wants. While Jesse Chavez came in and gave the Braves an excellent fourth inning, it will be a bullpen game the rest of the way for Atlanta. They won Game 1 over the Dodgers in walk-off fashion.
