Former Houston Astros outfielder Josh Reddick decided to try and steal the show after the Atlanta Braves won the World Series.
Countless baseball fans were jumping for joy after the Atlanta Braves got the job done and took down the Houston Astros to win the World Series. After the 2017 sign-stealing scandal, no one outside of Houston wants the Astros to capture the glory anytime soon.
Well, Josh Reddick is fully aware of this. The veteran outfielder was on that 2017 team and has openly said he has no regrets over what happened. He made that much clear with his latest Twitter post, sarcastically calling out Freddie Freeman and jokingly suggesting he was wearing a buzzer.

Freeman is known as one of the best dudes in the game. There’s no way he’s going to cheat his way to a World Series. Reddick was obviously joking here, but his post really lets people know that the drama he endured while with Houston is still fresh on his mind.
Folks continue to savage Houston for what they did back in 2017. Players from that team have basically shown no remorse ever since, as the apologies given out once they were caught were a complete and total joke.
Reddick’s joke is in reference to a Jomboy Media video, which dropped after the Astros defeated the New York Yankees in the 2019 ALCS, claiming Jose Altuve wore a buzzer to aid him in predicting Aroldis Chapman’s pitch selection.
Why did Reddick even have to come out here and drop this photo and message? Why couldn’t he have just wished Freeman well, congratulate him and then move on with his life? Perhaps he was just a little disappointed that his former teammates weren’t able to get the job done this year.
Regardless of all that, Freeman is still riding high after Atlanta captured its first World Series title since 1995. Nothing, especially not a silly tweet from Reddick, is going to bring him down.
