The Braves’ opposition in the NL East, the New York Mets, have signed Max Scherzer to a monster deal to add to an already dangerous looking roster. Competition in this division has gotten plenty more interesting now with the Mets building towards a run, and we are really just getting started in the hot stove season.
New York does not seem to be done while Phillies are heavy in the rumor mill as well. Eyes and ears are now on the defending champions to see how they will counter the biggest move in free agency thus far.
