One Reddit user is drawing Mike Trout every day until the MLB lockout ends at some point this offseason.
Baseball fans were a bit spoiled by the amount of MLB free agency signings and trades occurred during the Hot Stove season. But it feels like that has ended many months ago, as the league and Player’s Association are in a lockout due to collective bargaining agreement negotiations. So, what are fans to do?
One Reddit user decided to draw a picture of Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout every day until the lockout ends. You can take a look at their work so far at this link.

We shall see how many of Trout drawings we will get until both the league and the player’s union agree to terms on a new CBA.
The Angels have been one of the more active teams in the league this offseason, signing the likes of Noah Syndergaard, Aaron Loup, Michael Lorenzen and Raisel Iglesias to deals.
The 2022 season will be one for Angels fans to look forward to, as they saw Shohei Ohtani is the reigning AL MVP after an impressive 2021 campaign. Not only that, but Trout will return after missing the majority of this past year due to a calf injury.
For those fans that are waiting patiently for the MLB offseason to resume, perhaps take a page out of this Reddit user’s book and draw a picture of your favorite MLB player every day.
