San Diego Padres star Fernando Tatis Jr. has moves on the baseball diamond and on the dance floor.
MLB owners and the MLB Player’s Association are expected to have multiple bargaining sessions in the near future to try and bring an end to the lockout. Whether that happens before the scheduled start of the season remains to be seen. Given that, there has not been much news to report ever since the lockout was enforced. With that, fans are looking at social media for some updates on their favorite players.
San Diego Padres star Fernando Tatis Jr. has shown that he has some incredible moves when playing the shortstop position. Sure enough, he also has moves on the dance floor.
Padres: Fernando Tatis Jr. has some serious dance moves
After an incredible 2020 season in which his play helped the Padres reach the NL Divisional Series, Tatis was rewarded with a 14-year, $340 million contract extension.
This past season, Tatis dealt with multiple shoulder injuries. Even so, he was placed on the 10-day injured list both times. Still, he managed to play a total of 130 games.
Tatis slashed .282/.364/.611 while hitting 42 home runs (league-high), 97 RBI, 99 runs and 135 hits. He made the All-Star team, won the Silver Slugger and finished third-place behind Bryce Harper (winner) and Juan Soto for the NL MVP award.
Whenever the 2022 season starts, Tatis and the Padres will look to make a return trip to the postseason with new manager Bob Melvin.
