Former Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Steven Souza said that the Houston Astros are not the only team who cheated.
Ever since MLB released its findings that the Houston Astros stole signs electronically throughout the 2017 season, the team has become the villains of the league by opposing fans. But when it comes to those who cheated, one player is joining colleagues who are saying that the Astros were not the sole team.
Former Los Angeles Dodgers and Astros outfielder Steven Souza responded to a Twitter user saying that they disliked second baseman Jose Altuve, saying that the Astros players “are actually some really good human beings over there.”
Souza continued to respond to Twitter users, saying that the Astros were not the only team that had a sign-stealing system in MLB. In terms of a number, Souza says “more than half of the league.”

Steven Souza says Astros were not the only team who cheated
As mentioned earlier, Souza is not the only player who has brought this up recently.
Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Chris Sale said that the Astros were not the only team that was illegally stealing signs during the 2017 season.
Former Astros outfielder Josh Reddick responded to a tweet from ESPN MLB insider Buster Olney discussing Tony Kemp as a player who refused to participate in the sign-stealing system. Reddick said to add himself and Altuve to that list.
Souza signed a minor league deal with the Astros in 2021 but was released prior to the start of the season. He then signed on with the Dodgers, where he played 17 games with the team, in addition to 10 postseason games.
The veteran outfielder signed a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners for the 2022 season, where he is currently playing for their Triple-A team.
