Watch: Joc Pederson gets back at heckling Brewers fans in best way possible

San Francisco Giants outfielder Joc Pederson got immediate revenge on some Milwaukee Brewers hecklers via the long ball.

The Giants broadcast team captured the event in full after a well-placed commercial break.

After what appeared to be a check swing, some Brewers fans caught Pederson’s eye for the wrong reasons. He took note, and later in the at-bat hit an absolute bomb for his sixth home run of the season.

Pederson discussed the events after the game, admitting that the Brewers fans helped give him some motivation.

Corbin Burnes struck out 11 San Francisco hitters — and Pederson twice — over just under seven innings. He was tremendous. But, Burnes eventually gave way to the bullpen due to pitch count. Trevor Gott didn’t know what he was getting himself into.

Giants: Joc Pederson has a history against Brewers

Just last postseason, Pederson made the Brewers clutch their pearls in the NLDS, hitting two home runs in the first three games as a member of the Atlanta Braves. That was all she wrote.

The Brave turned Giant hopes to contribute — perhaps in a more consistent outfield/DH role — to another team expected to contend for the National League pennant. So far, so good, as Pederson has made himself a fan favorite by the Bay.
