MLB Opening Day is here, and that means one of everyone’s favorite exercises are being done in mass quantities: MLB predictions for the 162-game regular season.
While I pride myself on accurate information, I must admit one of my biggest flaws: I am awful at predictions. Like, really bad. So if I predicted your team to make the postseason, I’m sorry. And if I predicted your team to miss the postseason, congratulations on winning the World Series.

That being said, I’m predicting that the San Diego Padres will win the World Series.
I love what team owner Peter Seidler and general manager A.J. Preller have done constructing that roster, spending money in ways that small-market teams dream of. Just think, once Fernando Tatis Jr. eventually returns, they’ll have an offense that features Tatis, Juan Soto, Manny Machado, Xander Bogaerts, Jake Cronenworth, Trent Grisham, Ha-Seong Kim and Nelson Cruz. Lol.
