New York Mets fans want Luis Rojas fired after he made an awful bullpen blunder against the San Francisco Giants.
Rojas opted to pull starting pitcher Taijuan Walker out of the game in the top of the seventh inning with two runners on in favor of the ‘pen. The decision wasn’t liked at the time by a fanbase quick to point out how often Rojas has a quick hook.
The very next batter, the Giants took the lead thanks to a two-run single, and the chorus of boos ringing down on Rojas and his team could be heard all around the five boroughs.
You heard that right: Mets fans have their scapegoat.

If the Mets don’t make the postseason, which is looking more likely by the day, then Steve Cohen is likely to make changes. Could that come at the managerial level?
Rojas may not be the experienced hand the Mets need to take advantage of a talented roster. Cohen certainly has invested in the payroll. Unfortunately, that talent hasn’t amounted to results.
