MLB Draft: 2020 MLB Draft first round picks tracker

All the information you need about how to watch the 2020 MLB Draft and who gets taken in the first round.

The 2020 MLB Draft begins on Wednesday night. Things will look a little different this year, as the MLB Draft has been shortened from its usual 40-round marathon down to a five-round sprint and will be conducted virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Wednesday’s first round will be broadcast on ESPN and MLB Network, starting at 7 p.m. ET. Round two through five will take place on Thursday, starting at 5 p.m. ET on MLB Network and ESPN2. Both days will also be streaming on MLB.com.

The Detroit Tigers have the first overall pick and are expected to take Arizona State slugger Spencer Torkelson. The Houston Astros do not have a pick in the first or second rounds as punishment for their sign stealing.

We’ll have live updates here with each pick on Wednesday night.
