Queens native and billionaire Mike Repole is joining forces with Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez in their bid to purchase the New York Mets.
For New York Mets fans dreaming of Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez one day owning the team, some big, exciting news has arrived on Monday afternoon. The star-studded couple has been making a push for a while now to take over things in Flushing and a major investor has joined them.
According to a report, Queens native and billionaire Mike Repole is linking with A-Rod and J-Lo as a general partner. Will this eventually take the group’s efforts over the top to purchase the team?

This truly is a game-changer. And, it shows just how serious Rodriguez and Lopez are about their ownership group taking charge. Money is never going to be a problem for their newest partner too. Being from Queens, it’s been a dream of Repole’s to see his Mets get back to their winning ways. With him, Rodriguez and Lopez teaming up, there very well could be a monster change coming to the organization.
