Houston Astros complaining about being cheated out of the 2019 World Series is *Chefs Kiss*

Astros pitching coach Brent Strom complaining about a ‘missed strike’ in the 2019 World Series is a joke

Where in the world do the Houston Astros get the nerve? After their now infamous sign-stealing scandal, Houston remains one of the most hated teams in all of sports. Its terrible apology, coupled with the players basically shrugging things off, has fans across Major League Baseball furious.

In case you wanted your blood pressure to rise even more when discussing the Astros, wait until you see what pitching coach Brent Strom had to say about Game 7 against the Washington Nationals in the 2019 World Series.

Is Strom kidding here? I mean, the audacity for him to say such a thing. First of all, the pitch from Zack Greinke is clearly low and out of the strike zone. Even Strom admits he knows people are likely going to make fun of him for his reaction.

Secondly, and far more importantly, the Astros saying they got cheated of a potential World Series? Interesting. Last we checked, Houston RUINED the integrity of the game with their sign-stealing. Banging on a trash can to tip off batters of what pitch is coming?

Yeah, sorry Mr. Strom. You’ll have to forgive us if we don’t offer up too much sympathy for you thinking a pitch that was clearly a ball should have been a strike. If anything, MLB fans as a whole can celebrate the Nats taking down the Astros. Justice was served by the Baseball Gods.

No one is going to feel sorry for the Astros soon. If anything, Houston should be thankful people won’t be allowed in the stands for the shortened 60-game MLB season. Fans surely can’t wait to troll the hell out of them live and in person once the opportunity presents itself.
