Announcer for Rockies home run needs to be more careful (VIDEO)
We’ve all been there. We’ve all said something accidentally thinking one word but saying another. But imagine saying it on live TV in front of millions of people. That’s pretty much what happened at the Colorado Rockies vs. Texas Rangers game on Sunday afternoon.
The announcer for the game was calling a beautiful home run that had just been hit by Trevor Story of the Rockies. The home run put the Rockies up 4-2 in the top of the sixth but the flub from the commentary pretty much stole the show.
Listen to the Rockies announcer say “dick” instead of “deck”
Listen to the moment here.
We’re pretty sure he meant to say “deck” and not “dick” as it appears he said clearly.
We are all just 12-year-old boys giggling at a dick joke now aren’t we?
At press time the score hadn’t budged in the ninth so it’s safe (jinx!) to say the Rockies have secured this win.
Let’s hope there are no more dick slips this season!
