Nationals troll Donald Trump by inviting Joe Biden to throw out the first pitch on Opening Day.
The Washington Nationals have trolled President Donald Trump in the funniest and most innocent of ways by inviting the President-Elect, Joe Biden, to throw out the first pitch at the Nationals opening day. It’s an honor Trump never got.
Ok, have we stopped laughing yet?
This isn’t unfamiliar territory for Biden who had the honor of throwing out the first pitch for the Baltimore Orioles on opening day in 2009 while he was Vice President. Trump never threw out the first pitch while President of the United States, even though he was an avid supporter of sports (minus LeBron James). He even invited the Washington Nationals to the White House after they won the World Series in 2019.
Trump will be only one of two Presidents to not throw out the first pitch since 1910, the other was Jimmy Carter.
The closest Trump came to the first pitch was watching the Washington Nationals Game 5 of the World Series and then getting booed when he was shown on the big screen. LOL LOL LOL.
