Mickey Jannis is known for his knuckleball and a video of his famous toss is truly head-turning for fans to watch.
It’s been a rough stretch of seasons for the Baltimore Orioles, but the fans are looking for different reasons to get excited for the upcoming campaign. Well, leave it to hurler Mickey Jannis to deliver in that department.
While Jannis might not be known as a superstar in the league, his knuckleball really is out of this world. Need further evidence of that? Well, Baltimore posted a new video in slow motion of his knuckleball and it’s nothing short of breathtaking.

Holy smokes. As you can see in the video above, Jannis’ knuckleball has literally no spin on it. Imagine being a hitter and trying to make contact on that pitch. It seems virtually impossible to make contact.
Come the start of the regular season, Jannis will look to make a name for himself and embarrass batters whenever they step up to the plate to face him. If that video of his knuckleball is a sign of what’s to come this campaign, then hitters are going to need more than luck to try and record hits off of him.
