Yankees security guard absolutely destroys fan who ran on the field (Video)

A security guard at Yankee Stadium took out a fan who ran on the field during Tuesday night’s game between the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies.

It feels like it goes without saying that if you are a fan at a game and decide to run onto the field of play, it is not going to end well for you. By that, we mean tackled by security and taken away in handcuffs. Well, one ticket holder felt bold during Tuesday night’s game between the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies.

In the middle of the inter-league game, said fan decided to run onto the grass of Yankee Stadium, only to be viciously grappled to the ground in center field by a security guard. Six of that guard’s colleagues joined in to apprehend the fan before escorting him off the field.

That fan got absolutely leveled by that security guard.

The fan ran onto the field during the top of the sixth inning with the Yankees holding a 3-2 lead. However, the Phillies had two runners on base and two outs assessed at the time of the delay. After the fan was apprehended, Yankees pitcher Lucas Luetge struck out pinch hitter Luke Williams on three pitches to end the top of the frame.

Running onto the field may have felt glorious for that individual, but we can tell you what did not feel great for them — getting tackled to the ground by a security guard.
