Kris Bryant is using his time on the Giants to hit home runs.
Kris Bryant hasn’t been a member of the San Francisco Giants for long, but he’s already making a big impact. On Sunday afternoon, in a game versus the Houston Astros Bryant hit his first home run and absolutely crushed it.
Bryant was traded from the Chicago Cubs just days ago, much to the dismay of the fans … and Bryant himself.
Kris Bryant set a new record with his home run
Ironically all of the newly traded Cubs Anthony Rizzo, Javier Baez and Bryant all homered in their debuts with the new teams who acquired them. This is the first threesome to each homer in their debut with a different team after playing on the same team earlier that season, according to MLB stats.
