Watch: Yankees fan figured out the hands-down worst way to drink a beer

A New York Yankees fan had a creative way to drink beer at the team’s home game against the Mets.

The Yankees and Mets are once again meeting this season in a battle for New York bragging rights. That means that the stadiums are going to be filled, especially considering that both teams are in first place in their respective divisions.

When going to a live MLB game, fans are going to grab a beer (if they are of age, of course) and grab some food to enjoy the action. One fan showed off their creativity by drinking their beer, using a hot dog as a straw.

Yes, you read that correctly.

That was…certainly a creative way to drink a beer. Using a straw to poke a hole in the hot dog, then use that as a straw for the beer.

As for the game itself, the Yankees bats have come back to life following their 4-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays the day prior. The Bronx Bombers got on the board with a sacrifice fly by D.J. LeMaheiu in the first inning, a solo homer by Aaron Judge in the third, and an RBI double in the fifth. The Mets cut the deficit to 3-2 on a two-run homer by Daniel Vogelbach in the seventh.

Yet, it was Benintendi who increased the lead to 4-2 on a single in the bottom of the frame, which ended up being the final score.

So, what do you think about the method this fan used to drink their beer? Creative? Or a foul?
