Braves fans think Joc Pederson’s social media activity hints at Atlanta return

Don’t freak out just yet, Braves fans, but if you’re into reading between the lines, it looks like Joc Pederson has Atlanta on his mind.

What are the odds that a player posts three pictures of him in a Braves uniform even though just 6.2 percent of his total games were played with Atlanta?

Joc Pederson just might be signaling something with how frequently he’s posting pictures and videos of him from his Braves days.

Check it out, his three most recent baseball-oriented pots are all him in a Braves uni:

Now, before you get too excited, the posts all pertain to look-backs at postseason play. Perhaps Pederson is just getting nostalgic for what he and the Braves were able to accomplish last year winning the World Series with the playoffs currently in the League Championship series.

Or… Is there something more here?

His most recent picture was captioned “miss that feeling” and includes he and Dansby Swanson (who the Braves are trying to keep on the roster) embracing.

Joc Pederson will be a sought after free agent this winter

In March, Pederson and the San Fransisco Giants agreed to a one-year deal worth $6 million. He’ll be back on the open market this winter, and seeing how good the Braves were this year — and how they’ll be rolling back much of their young talent next year — could be attractive as a destination for Pederson.

Maybe he does truly want to get back to Atlanta and help them push for another World Series win.

Regardless of if the Braves return Pederson or not, they now have Michael Harris II, Spencer Strider, Ronald Acuna Jr., Ozzie Albies, Matt Olson, and Austin Riley in the fold for the foreseeable future. Things are looking good for Atlanta. No surprise that Pederson is wishing he was on that squad.
