So, let’s dive into some NRFI and YRFI bets. These bets rely solely on the first inning. If you take the NRFI, you’re cheering for no runs to be scored in the first inning and if you take the YRFI, you’re cheering for at least one run to be scored in the first.
So, let’s dive into my top NRFI and YRFI bet for Tuesday’s action.

Angels/Mariners NRFI (-135)
The Los Angeles Angels are one of five teams in MLB who are yet to score a run in the first inning this season, and I don’t think that streak’s going to end tonight. Tonight, he has to face Luis Castillo, who pitched six scoreless innings in his first start this season.
It’s also important to note that Jose Suarez, who will be making his first start of the season, boasted a 1.80 ERA in the first inning last season.
I think we’ll have a scoreless first inning tonight.
Rockies/Dodgers YRFI (+105)
The Los Angeles Dodgers are already averaging 1.20 first inning runs per game so far this season, which is the fourth highest mark in the Majors.
The Rockies also rank in the top half of the Majors, averaging 0.60 first inning runs this season.
Julio Urias allowed allowed a run in the first inning in his first start that season, and I hope he allows another tonight.
