Best MLB prop bets today (Bo Bichette’s bat stays hot)

We have a full slate of MLB games on tap for Easter Sunday, so let’s place some bets and have some fun.

In this article, I’m going to focus on prop bets for today’s action.

I have three prop bets that I have locked in, so let’s jump into them.

MLB prop bets for Easter Sunday

  • Bo Bichette OVER 1.5 hits (+170)
  • Michael Grove UNDER 3.5 (-110)
  • Ronald Acuna Jr. Home Run (+500)

Bo Bichette OVER 1.5 hits (+170)

Bo Bichette is tied, alongside two other Blue Jays, for the MLB lead in hits with 16 through the first week of the MLB season. Now is the time to jump on the hype train and bet on him to record at least two hits against the Angels today at +170 odds.

Reid Detmers allowed four hits in 4.2 innings in his first start of the season, but what’s even more important is the Angels bullpen allows an opponent batting average of .248.

I can’t resist this bet at +170.

Michael Grove UNDER 3.5 (-110)

The Arizona Diamondbacks have been one of the best offenses in the Majors in terms of not striking out. Heading into today’s action, they’re sixth in MLB in strikeout percentage, striking out on only 18.9% of plate appearances.

Michael Grove recorded four strikeouts in his first start this season, but he averaged only 7.4 per nine innings last season so I expect a regression in that area tonight when he takes on the Diamondbacks.

I’ll back the UNDER on his 3.5 strikeout total.

Ronald Acuna Jr. Home Run (+500)

Ronald Acuna Jr. has already hit two home runs this season, but I expect him to add to that total sooner rather than later. His slugging percentage is sitting at .487, well above where it was last season at .413.

It’s worth a shot at +500.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
