Best NRFI and YRFI bets today (Trust Yusei Kikuchi in opening frame)

It’s Easter Sunday, but instead of hunting for eggs, let’s hunt for some MLB winners.

Let’s get things started off with a couple of NRFI and YRFI bets. These bets focus solely on the first inning. If you bet the YRFI, you’re cheering for at least one run to be scored in the opening frame. If you take the NRFI, you’re hoping for a scoreless 1st inning.

I have one of each that I love for Sunday’s MLB slate.

Let’s jump into them.

NRFI and YRFI bets today

  • Blue Jays/Angels NRFI (+100)
  • Dodgers/Diamondbacks YRFI (-130)

Blue Jays/Angels NRFI (+100)

2023 may just be the resurgence of Yusei Kikuchi. After a disappointing 2022, Kikuchi has looked nothing but promising this year. He posted the lowest ERA amongst all pitchers in Spring Training at 0.87 and then follow that up with a strong first game performance, giving up only one run in 5.0 innings.

Most importantly, he pitched a scoreless first inning.

Now, he gets to face a Los Angeles Angels team that’s 24th in first inning runs per game this season at 0.25.

The Angels will trot out Reid Detmers for the start, who also had a strong first outing, giving up two earned runs in 4.2 innings.

I’ll take the NRFI in this spot at +100 odds.

Dodgers/Diamondbacks YRFI (-130)

The Los Angeles Dodgers have ben the hottest team in the first inning in all of baseball, averaging 1.44 1st inning runs per game.

Things are looking great for the YRFI to cash in their game once again when they take on the Arizona Diamondbacks in a less than stellar pitching matchup.

Michael Grove (6.75 ERA) will get the start for the Dodgers and he’ll take on Ryne Nelson (5.40 ERA) of the Diamondbacks. Nelson allowed two earned runs in the 1st inning in his first start of the year. Let’s cheer for him to give up at least one run in the 1st inning again tonight.

Game odds refresh periodically and are subject to change.
